Vito Joseph Frezza was born at 12:13pm, 9 lbs even and 21 inches long. Mom and baby are doing awesome!
Dialated to 7 now. Vito is moving down fast. They say in maybe an hour he’ll ne ready.
It’s been a rough last hour. The first epideral didn’t take and they had to re-do it. Leslie is VERY comfortable now with virtually no pain at all. The most recent check shows her dilated to 5.
Leslie is resting comfortably and trying to get in some zzzz’s.
Dialated to 3. Dr. broke her water. Getting her epidural now.
I’m grabbing A quick breakfast and coffee.
It was pretty much an uneventful night. I was able to go home and get a few hours of sleep and was back to the Hosptial at 5:30am this morning. They started the Pitocin at just after 5:30am to induce labor.
Leslie is still feeling pretty good. We are seeing some contractions on the monitor, but they are pretty bearable. It’s still just a waiting game.
Time to tap into my Red Bull supply now.
So after being here for 2 hours, the OB Resident finally came by (apparently it’s busy tonight). They gave Leslie the once over and said she is dialated between 1-2. They then gave her some stuff to help that along called Cervidil. It’s just a waiting game now. Apparently this stuff can put you into labor as well.
A CRNA stopped by to drop off papers for an epidural.
On a good note, there is a great Wifi signal from the room…woo hoo. My first post was using my Ipod Touch, but i’m on my laptop now.
Well, we are all checked in to the Hospital and just chilling in the room. They strapped on the baby monitor and we are waiting for a Dr to come in.
Here is a picture of Vito’s room. He should be along very soon. 🙂
